It's amazing how much time can be spent on a piece of artwork, and even moreso how I can spend upwards of eight hours working on something only to set it aside, and forget about it - for it to never be picked up again because I find myself thinking my artwork isn't -good- enough... because I look at something and become discouraged. Regardless of that I think I need to begin forcing myself to draw a bit more than what has been done and actually spit something out that is more substantial than the likes of a five-year old's stick figure drawing that I feel is all I am able to accomplish. I am not suited for art school, because if I were given a commission I would never aptly finish it, and in the world of getting paid to do artwork I would never paid because - guess what - it would never get done! AMAZING how that works, right? *Sigh*
